The Schiphol station can only be reached by local trains departing from Rotterdam. To reach Paris, Brussels or Antwerp, you must purchase a ticket from Rotterdam. Print then your travel confirmation to travel free between Rotterdam and Schiphol. This will be your ticket.

Travel on Thalys trains for disabled passengers

Fares for wheelchair travellers are not available online. Please inquire at Thalys points of sale (train stations or travel agencies) or by telephone.

Lots of room in Premium

Passengers with a disability travelling in a wheelchair automatically benefit from Premium at the Standard price. A special seating area is reserved for passengers in a wheelchair in cars 1, 11 and 21. There is more room for the wheelchair and meals are served in place. Specially adapted toilets accessible to wheelchair users are also available.

    Assistance can be requested as soon as your Thalys journey is reserved, until 24h prior to departure.
  • In Germany
    Tel. +49 (0)180 6 512 512 (first 30 seconds free of charge, then €0.20/min from a landline in Germany or a maximum of €0.60/min from a mobile phone) from Monday to Friday from 6 am to 10 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm.
    Your request for assistance must be made at the latest by 8 pm on the day before departure.
  • In France
    Tel. +33 (0) 890 640 650 (cost of a local call according to the carrier's rate) every day from 7 am to 10 pm or via the online request form for assistance.
    Assistance can be requested as soon as you have booked your Thalys journey and at the latest 48 hours before departure.
  • In the Netherlands
    Tel. +31 (0) 30 235 78 22 (cost of a local call according to the carrier's rate). Your request for assistance must be made at the latest 24 hours before departure.
  • In Great Britain
    No pre-booking possible so please arrive at check-in 60 minutes before departure and speak to a member of the staff who will assist you.
