Travellers with reduced mobility
Travellers with reduced mobility can take advantage of the station’s assistance service to simplify their journey. Please ensure that the service is booked well in advance.
Free in-station assistance
If you need help to board you need to make the request for assistance at least 48 hours before the departure time.
- In Belgium
Tel. +32 (0)2 528 28 28 every day from 7 am to 9:30 pm (cost of a local call depending on the telephone operator) or via the SNCB Europe online assistance request form.
- In Germany
Tel. +49 (0)180 6 512 512 every day from 6 am to 10 pm (€0.20/min from a landline in Germany or €0.60/min from a mobile phone), via the online form (in german), via e-mail (email@example.com) or via chat.
- In France
Via the online assistance form (in French) or you can also contact the Accès Plus call centre agents from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, 7 days a week at: 3635 #45 (local call price) (in French).
- In the Netherlands

Your request for assistance can be made as soon as you have made a booking and must be registered at least 48 hours before departure.
However, persons with reduced mobility should note that the in-station assistance service is not included in the ticket price. Remember to book your trip well in advance.
Taking a wheelchair on board
To be allowed on board, wheelchairs must comply with the accepted dimension norms, i.e.:
- 75 cm wide/125 cm high
- Turning circle diameter: 150 cm.
- Maximum weight: 300 kg with the passenger and luggage
Combustion engine-powered wheelchairs are not allowed on board the trains. Any chair that cannot enter the nominated coach cannot be accepted.
Electric-powered wheelchairs are permitted on board.

Wheelchair travellers can travel in Premium class for the price of Standard class.
