I’m adding it to my guide 11 have added it

By sharing this address I realize it will be even more crowded than it already is. It’s very popular by locals in Rotterdam and I’m one of their fans too. Angelo Betti is a small Italian pizzeria also the oldest one in town. Mamma Mia! These pizzas are delicious!

Monte Bianco

They serve more than 30 pizzas, but I always choose the Monte Bianco. It is filled with ham, rocket lettuce and mascarpone. It tastes marvellous! Off course they have the originals like Margarita and Calzones as well. Don’t you like pizza, then try the lasagne. The crew consists of really rampageous man only and they‘re always joking. It’s a bit hysteric, but fun at the same time. And don’t leave without trying the self-made ice cream or tiramisu. This is how it all started in 1922, grandfather Betti selling his homemade ice cream.

No reservations

Either you go in the weekends or during weekdays, it’s always full of people. They don’t make any reservations, so just go there and see what happens. Waiting time is max half an hour. And in the meanwhile you can taste the lovely Italian wine.

Opening hours
7 days a week from 16.00 till 22.30 o clock.

I work in communications and have kept an on-line fashion journal for years. I'll show you around Rotterdam, my home town, a magical place open on the world. Sparkling restaurants, deliciously hidden between sea and sky. My little extra: globetrotter and multi-lingual
