PLACE GUSTAVE TOUDOUZE
The terraces of PigalleParis
Place Gustave Toudouze
Before climbing up to Montmartre, take a break at Place Gustave Toudouze, in the 9th district, in the heart of SoPi (South of Pigalle). Enjoy a moment of peace, relaxation and carefree living.
It’s like a village green, with its bench, trees, fountain, Morris column, newsagent’s and rows of sidewalk cafés, where you can take a break and do some serious people watching! This adorable sloped town square has four restaurants that are always packed. The No Stress Café sets the tone with international fare you can enjoy on its XXL terrace. A little Indian place, the Kastoori, with its kitschy pink facade, is squeezed between a tea room and a bourgeois-bohemian brasserie. The house does not serve alcoholic beverages, but the fragrance of the fresh mango lassi and traditional dishes are sure to go to your head.
Vanina Escoubet’s studio-boutique is a reference in the district. This retro-chic Parisian brand proposes unique pieces and limited editions every two months, in addition to its regular collection. Vanina Escoubet is the stylist of rue Henry Monnier (just a few minutes away from Place Gustave Toudouze). Not to be missed!

Mother, bohemian and Parisian, I love Paris' cosmopolitan side and warmth. Exhibitions, walks, outings with the children...I'll take you on a discovery of the most welcoming places in Paris. My little extra: with my love of food as my compass, I always set course for the best lemon tarts in the city.
