"To listen to music you like at a party that you never hear when you go out nowadays". That’s a good way to summarize the concept of these evenings where the atmosphere never flags. Strictly Niceness has been making a name for itself in Brussels' night-life since 2003. Partiers meet at the Bodega twice a month. Smiles and itchy feet are guaranteed.

DJ’s and great music

The music pulsates in an industrial setting. After transiting through the coat room, I climb the metal steps to reach the loft, then the attic, a floor further up. Every floor has its own music style, its own Belgian or foreign DJ...always great! Strictly Niceness is a musical journey that travels from funk to soul, reggae to disco, hip hop to Afrobeat, salsa to house, all in a party atmosphere. The classics mix with new tunes. The last few times we went, we heard music remixes from the 30s/40s/50s.

Open to everyone

This isn't the place you go to be seen. You dance for yourself not for others. The evenings bring together good dancers and average dancers looking for a dance floor where having a good time is more important than style. Since the evenings are more and more successful, be sure not to get there too late or you won't get in.

I'm mad about food. I'm a Brussels native by adoption and I started a fun and girly cooking blog. I decrypt all of the new trends that will eventually show up in your plate! My little extra: surprising culinary discoveries I share with you with great zest and appetite.
