A quick snack that's organic, tasty, fresh and natural? Exki, a Belgian operation specialised in sit-down or take-away fast food, ticks all these boxes. This small chain is on the rise, already with several outlets in Brussels.

Fast food, good food

Fast food has a bad reputation, but I quickly left behind my prejudice when I discovered Exki, complete with a terrace on Place Stéphanie. Its secret lies in the quality of its produce. The fresh sandwiches are made daily and are never put back on the shelf the next day. 20% of the ingredients used carry an organic label. And what's more, it's tasty! With such a large choice of sandwiches, salads, quiches and soups, however, I wasn't able to taste everything.

Frank's special touch

Behind each dish lies a great vegetable lover: chef Frank Fol. Instead of a traditional ham and butter sandwich, you will find organic bread filled with delicious chicken or langoustine pieces, served with a sauce made from vegetable juices – a delicacy! For dessert, I recommend the sweet tarts. You’ll be a fan of fast food in no time!

Open from 8 am to 8 pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday.

I'm mad about food. I'm a Brussels native by adoption and I started a fun and girly cooking blog. I decrypt all of the new trends that will eventually show up in your plate! My little extra: surprising culinary discoveries I share with you with great zest and appetite.
