Based in the ever-so-hip Dansaert district, True Colors is a shop that opens up a window to the Mediterranean, its intense colours and lush vegetation. The shop sells objects that are as beautiful as they are unique, that come from all around the sunny region, along with studio full of floral creations.

A genuine feast for the senses

Whether it’s the intoxicating perfumes from African lands, or the cloying fragrance of the myriad flowers crowding the shop, the sense of smell is overwhelmed. True Colors combines the joy of discovery with the pleasures of the senses. From the shimmering colourful pottery, to the original, painstakingly woven multicoloured carpets, you can’t help but get carried away. The first time I entered the shop, I was hit by a multitude of new sensations. Surprises at every turn !

Sunday brunch

Once a month – to liven up the all too often dreary Sundays in Brussels- True Colors serves brunch, offering inexpensive fare, made up of meticulously prepared dishes and accompanied by a glass of champagne. A temptation that’s hard to resist... This shop has become a regular stop on my wanders through the city centre.
Practical info
Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 – 19:00 and Sunday from 12:00 – 18:00, closed Mondays.

My fashion job takes me around the world throughout the year. I love flea markets and hunting for antiques year round, meeting up with friends at art show openings, going to fashion shows and being first to discover a new restaurant.
My little extra: introducing people to the "arty" and underground side of Brussels!"
