La Villa Lorraine is a Brussels institution full of charm and elegance. Luxury, calm and voluptuousness are on the menu, not to mention the high class gastronomy. While its timeless ambiance gives it an additional appeal, it is above all its menu that causes people to travel from far and wide to be able to taste its refined dishes.

Rarity and the exceptional

The kitchen of the Villa Lorraine celebrates all that is best in flavour. The live langoustines are imported direct from Scotland and the Breton lobsters are kept – as they should be – in a homarium. The smoked salmon is a rare delicacy, a culinary pleasure to be shared amongst friends. At the oven, Patrick Vandecasserie assumes his role with a meticulous concern for detail. The quality of the product, its freshness and its cooking must all be optimal. He magnifies the flavours without compromise. The conclusion is that one would not easily forget a meal he has prepared.

A caviar bar

Each table at the establishment offers its own “Bar à Caviar”. Three varieties are served, from Oscietra to Sevruga. The idea is for it be an accompaniment to the tasting of one of the 30,000 bottles offered on the wine list, one of the finest in Belgium.

Open from Monday to Saturday, 12 pm to 2:30 pm and 7 pm to 10 pm.

My fashion job takes me around the world throughout the year. I love flea markets and hunting for antiques year round, meeting up with friends at art show openings, going to fashion shows and being first to discover a new restaurant.
My little extra: introducing people to the "arty" and underground side of Brussels!"
