The retro café has an 18-hole mini golf course. For the pleasure of young and old alike, also open on winter weekends and during school holidays.

Sint-Anna tunnel

Once when walking around Antwerp, we decided to explore some new places. The Sint-Anna tunnel, also known as the pedestrian tunnel, is located 31 metres below the Escaut River and links Antwerp to the city of Linkeroever. We climbed the 572 steps on foot. You can also take the original wooden escalator. I tend to be a little claustrophobic, but I wasn't at all ill at ease during the crossing.

An 18-hole mini golf course

Once out of the tunnel, we got a great view! We started to look for a place to eat on the banks of the Escaut. The smell of fresh chips wafting over from an Art Nouveau building called "Retro Café" made our mouths water! After a good, typically Belgian meal, the server told us that the brasserie had an 18-hole mini golf course. Adults and teenagers play together in the garden. An inflatable castle, a playground, and a tub full of balls are available for the little ones. Miniature golf isn't any easier than golf. You have to be totally concentrated and precise!
Open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm, Friday and Saturday until midnight and Sunday until 10:00 pm
Marie-France, 32 Public relations manager

Born in Africa, I've lived between Europe, the United States and my homeland. A real mix of cultures! I'm always connected to social networks and on the lookout for great fashion, lifestyle, music and outing deals. I work in Antwerp as a public relations manager. I'm also a presenter for a TV music channel. My little extra: I like to get out and meet people.
