At Skatepark Amsterdam you can 'forget' your teens with their skateboards for an afternoon, with full peace of mind. They won't even notice that you've slipped out for some shopping or even a movie.

Skateboarding in an industrial zone

Located on the second floor of an industrial hangar originally used in Amsterdam's shipbuilding industry (note the sliding door plastered with stickers), this indoor park offers tracks with obstacles at different levels of difficulty. Children can use the park accompanied by a parent, starting from age 5! They're bound to beg for more. And if you'd prefer to have your precious little one get some private instruction before joining the experienced crowd, that's also possible. No need to bring your own board: you can rent one on-site.

Safety first

You'll see for yourself: at Skatepark Amsterdam, the atmosphere is relaxed. In a little shop that doubles as a cafeteria, and which feels a lot like a good old-fashioned surf shop, the staff is happy to help. Their enthusiasm for skateboarding is infectious: you'll instantly discover that it's easy, and you'll be a master in no time! But if there's one thing they don't compromise on, it's safety. Wearing a helmet and pads is mandatory. And once again, I can assure you: they've got everything you could possibly need.

Laurence, 46 a cool mum

I’m the mother of two supercharged children. I’ve also been living a great love affair with Holland for the past 20 years! I’ll take you to places in Amsterdam that will make you feel good, where the products and the welcome are high quality and where, most importantly, you’ll never stress out. Ready to go?
