The latest of the attractions of Amsterdam, Bounz offers 32 trampolines taped together, where anyone aged 1 to 99 can jump and have fun in complete safety. It is good for figure, fitness and for your spirits!
Enjoyment guaranteedBehind a Stalinist décor on the outside, Bounz hides its secret well. Once through the doors, you have just one wish: to get onto the trampoline. Shrieks of joy echo out of the hall, children with their faces flushed with exertion run in all directions, jumping and bouncing surrounds you. Huge fun! As soon as his foot touched the surface of the trampoline my young lad (who I accompanied; which is a requirement for those aged under 8) became an acrobat. For an hour he expended so much energy and enjoyed himself so much in doing so, moving from one trampoline to another, falling and jumping up again in the same movement, that he was asleep in an instant in the car on the way home. I felt like doing the same…
Like a giant bouncy castleAt Bounz, there is no risk of an accident. There is no gap between the 32 trampolines that form the play surface which is in turn bordered by more trampolines on a slope rising to shoulder height (as in a bouncy castle), which makes all kinds of somersaults possible. No special clothing is required and you jump barefoot. An hour on the trampoline costs €5.50 during the week and €6.50 at the weekend. Everyone is welcome. For those who want to improve their muscles or lose weight, various trampoline gymnastics/aerobics classes are organised. You can even play a form of basket ball on the trampoline.
Open every day from 7 am to 10 pm (see opening times for lessons and free time slots on the website). Booking advised. Free parking.
