Due to work on the high-speed line in The Netherlands, trains will not stop at the Schiphol station.

The Schiphol station can only be reached by local trains departing from Rotterdam. To reach Paris, Brussels or Antwerp, you must purchase a ticket from Rotterdam. Print then your travel confirmation to travel free between Rotterdam and Schiphol. This will be your ticket.

I love the underground atmosphere you can feel as soon as you enter this huge building, with its walls decorated to the ceilings by well-known graffiti artists. I often come across some pretty bizarre looking people on the staircases.

A massive pool room

At first sight what takes you by surprise in this club is the area it takes up. The Westerpark district in western Amsterdam certainly provides more space than the centre. The club is on three floors of a large, brick building with wide windows. One floor is taken up by pool tables, which is where the place gets its name. There are 21 tables there, and on some evenings they’re all being used.
The night club takes up a similar space on the floor above. Despite its size, this isn’t a meat market, and there are various different areas between the alcoves, with a dance floor and a chillout area linked by the bar. I love the way it feels both well spaced out and friendly. And you can sometimes play table tennis there.

Laid back

The most popular night used to be the famous Club Rascal but I’ve had a really good time at the Burlesque Freakouts. Club 8 has a really great atmosphere with loads of laid back people. spring?

I spend a lot of time in front of the computer, but I prefer to be followed on a bicycle than on Twitter. I love Amsterdam for...its little streets, riches, treasures and all of the spots where you can get a really good beer. Follow the guide! My little extra: discovering nature
