Musée de la Musique

The Musée de la Musique offers young and old alike the chance to discover more than 1,000 instruments and art objects. Its unique, world-class collection includes national treasures and legendary instruments, including a piano belonging to Chopin.

Every day, a musician brings the Musée collection to life by playing music, talking about an instrument or repertoire, and discussing subjects such as performance and manufacturing techniques. During "Promenade-concerts" visitors stroll through the Museum galleries brought to life by musicians, storytellers, dancers and lecturers on certain Sunday afternoons.

The Philharmonie de Paris

The Philharmonie de Paris is the new musical heart of the capital. With its rich programme of activities, (Musée de la Musique, temporary exhibitions, concerts, shows, workshops, family activities at the weekend), the Philharmonie de Paris attracts all kinds of visitors, whether they come alone, as a couple, as a family, and whether passionate about music or just curious!
