Strikes in Belgium on the 30-31 of May
Due to strike action in France and Belgium, Thalys will face major disruptions from Mai 30 till June 2. These actions will generate some disruptions on the Thalys network. However, Thalys intends to keep as many services as possible. More details are available if you click on the hypertext links below.
Mai 30. The 2 last trains to Dortmund will finish their service in Cologne. Travelers can continue their journey on Deutsche Bahn trains with their Thalys tickets (Caution: Thalys The Card alone won’t be valid, please print your Ticketless).
Mai 31. Strike in Belgium. No traffic from/to Liege and Germany.
Cancellation of several Paris-Brussels trains. Sales are closed on all trains between Paris and Brussels to secure enough seats for the travelers already holding Thalys tickets.
Whatever the fare conditions, tickets for the suppressed trains are exchangeable or refundable at no extra cost at the initial point of sale. Thalys recommends travelers to postpone their journeys. To receive all traffic information in real time, Thalys invites the travelers to consult thalys.com or to download the free mobile application for smartphones.
Thalys thanks the customers for their understanding.
