Your plans have changed? Just change your ticket!

The method for changing a ticket depends on how the ticket was bought initially. Just tell us what type of ticket you have and we’ll tell you what you need to do!

Exchanging a Ticketless ticket

You bought a Ticketless ticket on the Thalys.com website

You may exchange your ticket online using the thalys.com website:  via your account or under the heading ‘TICKETS’ by entering your file number and the purchaser's email address.
In case of problems, contact this number +33 1 83 75 49 69 (local rate).

Your Ticketless ticket will be modified according to your instructions if the conditions associated with your fare allow it. 

There is no need to reprint the trip confirmation: the barcode on the initial confirmation email or on your MobileTicket will automatically reflect the new information.

Thalys TheCard Ticketless Ticket

You bought a Ticketless ticket on the Thalys TheCard site

Log on to the thalysthecard.com site, connect to your account and make the required changes.

Your Ticketless ticket will be modified according to your instructions if the conditions associated with your fare allow it. 

There is no need to reprint the trip confirmation: the history of all changes will be recorded automatically on your Thalys TheCard card.

Exchanging a hard copy ticket

If you are already in possession of your ticket, have it with you for the following actions.

If you have already paid for your ticket but not yet collected it, you will have received (via email or telephone) a 6-letter booking reference which identifies your order. Make sure you have this 6-letter booking reference with you.

This situation may arise if you have bought your ticket via the Internet or by telephone and you selected the option ‘collect tickets from the station or an automatic ticket dispenser’.

In stations: go to any international SNCF, DB, SNCB or NS station.

Exchanging a Homeprint ticket

Your Digital Homeprint ticket will be modified according to your instructions if the conditions associated with your fare allow it. 

Good news - there is no need to print a new journey confirmation!

Otherwise go to one of the international NS or SNCB stations.

How to exchange an NS Homeprint ticket bought via thalys.com

By telephone: call the NS International Service Center.

In stations, go to any international SNCB or NS station.

Exchanging a ticket bought through a travel agent

First, try to contact the travel agent from whom you bought the ticket.

If you need to exchange the ticket outside the agent’s opening hours, here’s what to do:
