So you're back from vacation, and you're sorely missing the salty spray and sea air, but here's a restaurant that's bound to cheer you up: Tant qu'il y aura des bretons serves you Brittany on a plate, the next best thing to being there!
A restaurant devoted to Breton specialties, what's not to like? Here of course you'll find the traditional buckwheat galettes and other wheat flour crêpes (try the Port Navalo, with crabmeat, artichokes à la romaine, candied lemon and herbs or the Pont-Aven with Palet Breton, pear, ice cream and salted butter caramel with gavottes : to die for!) But also lovely are the dishes that combine seafood and terroir products, fresh from the coast (the scallops, mmm!). And naturally, to go with it, a cold cup of locally brewed poiré or cider…
Although it's authentic terroir on the plate, the decor is impeccably urban! This is not your average crêperie, with contemporary styling in bicolour parquet and furnished in tones of grey, taupe and ivory. The service is pleasant and efficient, and the proprietor, a born and bred Breton, has a wealth of stories to share… Take a little trip to Bretagne in the heart of Paris !
