Rock-it-baby is a haven for skirt-lovers that offers a refined yet exciting play on shapes and fabric.

The land of the skirt

At Rock-it-baby you will find nothing but skirts, or almost nothing. This charming little boutique does offer a range of clothing and matching accessories, but it's the skirt (‘rock’ in German) that really shapes the collections as well as the shop’s interior. Whether you're looking for something sophisticated, eccentric or traditional – or all three at once – your Rock-it-baby skirt is sure to be full of character and individuality.

Head for Ehrenfeld

The limited edition skirts designed by Sabine Berndt come in surprisingly audacious shapes, fabrics and colours and boast wonderful attention to detail. Die-hard fans of this garment flock to the small street in Ehrenfeld where the adorable store is to be found. Take your other half with you for an arm-in-arm stroll around the district, and if he suffers from a skirt overdose he'll find something to keep him busy at Herrenbude, Rock-it-baby’s male equivalent, minus the skirts.

Coralie, 31 JOURNALIST BY DAY

I'm a translator and editor for several publications and I love the hidden side of the city, its secret gardens, its discrete gourmet restaurants and its new, high-design spots. Outings with my friends end late at night. My little extra: a dynamic, fun and really trendy Cologne!
