Sonja Noël, a real visionary of Belgian fashion, has introduced a unique concept with her latest store, located a stone’s throw from rue Antoine Dansaert. Haleluja combines her love of luxury fashion with a fair trade approach and is a regular haunt for Brussels fashionistas.

An innovative boutique

Haleluja sells brands by young designers working with organic, recycled or fair trade materials. Sonja has done away with the “hippy” connotations of this kind of clothing by concentrating on articles that are elegant and refined. I only recently discovered her store and have become a firm supporter. You need only experience her enthusiasm to be totally convinced.

International stylists & diversity

Haleluja brings fair trade fashion to a new level. From Ada Zanditon’s sexy dresses to Eric Beauduin’s recycled leather bags and KOhZO hibiscus and wasabi-stained jeans, you’re sure to find something you love. I really admire the boutique’s neutral interior and relaxing atmosphere – ideal for an afternoon of shopping!

Years of planning

Sonja spent four years planning this project before it came to fruition. For her it’s more a lifestyle choice than a mere interest in fashion. Haleluja brings new energy to Brussels and an ultra-modern way to view luxury fashion.

Open Monday to Saturday 11 am to 6:30 pm.

Philippe, 38 AESTHETE

My fashion job takes me around the world throughout the year. I love flea markets and hunting for antiques year round, meeting up with friends at art show openings, going to fashion shows and being first to discover a new restaurant.
My little extra: introducing people to the "arty" and underground side of Brussels!"
