The Aventure is a real Brussels jewel and one of the oldest cinemas still operating in the capital. Opened in April 1952, the Aventure is located in the heart of Brussels at the back of the Galerie du Centre. Recently fully renovated, this unique venue - which could hold up to 600 patrons when it first opened - is really worth a detour.

Substantial renovation

The cinema was purchased by Arbemax in 2008 and the company undertook extensive renovation work. It's said to have cost nearly a million to return the Adventure to its former state of beauty and prestige. The red room has 111 seats and the blue room has a capacity of 71. Patrons can enjoy a glass of champagne with tapas or acid drops at intermission.

A VIP room

Private screenings and other events related to the seventh art are held in the Aventure's VIP room which can hold up 44 people. It's the ultimate in chic to rent it out for friends and family to show holiday films to a very select group.

My fashion job takes me around the world throughout the year. I love flea markets and hunting for antiques year round, meeting up with friends at art show openings, going to fashion shows and being first to discover a new restaurant.
My little extra: introducing people to the "arty" and underground side of Brussels!"
