For the past few years now, the city of Amsterdam has become a cradle of multidisciplinary initiatives that combine different creative visions. The Radar gallery is a part of this innovative trend, celebrating the artistic energy of an amazing city.

Combining know-how and talent

The Radar gallery project was created in 2008 by the architect Marco de Piaggi and a small group of friends. Its goal is to promote urban planning, sculpture, painting and graphic printing. Radar wants to separate itself from traditional art market dogma and searches for ambitious and personal concepts that totally express the individuality of each artist.

Temporary exhibitions and events

Radar's agenda combines urgency and immediacy. De Piaggi organises happenings in the gallery on a regular basis. They bring together the world of underground music and art and draw bigger and bigger audiences. There is no entrance fee and the space is ideally located in the Jordaan district, the new cool area of Amsterdam.
Romain, 35 ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

I love Amsterdam's open spirit. It's easy to meet people and have rich, interesting conversations. The heart of the city is bubbling over with cultural initiatives, secret restaurants and nature routes that relax you in no time. I want to share it all with you!
