The Floating Pavilion is the expertise centre of the innovative and inspirational approach to climate, energy and water. It just opened and it’s very spectacular.

Floating Pavilion at Rotterdam Rijnhaven

Have a walk across the Erasmusbrug or take the subway or tram and you will immediately see the three glass bulbs on the water. The floating Pavilion is an outstanding piece of art. In case it’s not open (only on the third Sunday of the month) it is also worth a visit. The port of Rotterdam is all about water and that’s why I think it might be interesting to visit this place. The special exhibition gives information regarding the innovative and inspiring approach of water, climate and energy. And the entrance is free!

Exhibitions

The permanent exhibition deepening the connection between climate, water, (sustainable) constructions and (sustainable) energy. In the middle there is a large map of the port area of Rotterdam. Around this map there are some small houses. Every house highlights a theme. The audio tour will give you more information about this exposition. The Floating Pavilion is close to the Wilhelminapier, so you can combine it with a visit to Lantaren Venster.

Every third Sunday of the month from 12.00 – 5.00 PM.
