BOB’S JUICE BAR
Bob’s Juice Bar
15 rue Lucien-Sampaix
Bob’s Juice Bar is a small shop in the 10th district run by an expat from New York City and is "the place to be" for healthy, fresh fare. Despite its name, this vegetarian “fast food” restaurant offers much more than fruit juice…
Inside his little restaurant, you can watch Bob (aka Marc Grossman) make fresh sandwiches and salads, original soups and incredible muffins. His smoothies, prepared with organic fruit and vegetables, come in a wide range of styles: vitamin-rich (orange, mango, banana), detox (veggies) or indulgent (coconut milk).
A haven for bobos and tree-huggers
Bob is a very environmentally-committed American. Whether you order a salad, soup or sandwich, you're sure to leave with a bag of green tea and wooden utensils! If you want to meet some of the neighbourhood bobos, just sit down at the large wooden table in the middle of the dining room. Those less inclined to chat can find a quiet corner to read the latest edition of Wired or Time Magazine. And when the restaurant is packed, opt for “take away” and find a nice spot to enjoy your meal on the banks of the nearby Canal Saint-Martin!
Open Monday to Saturday from 7:30 am to 4 pm
Mother, bohemian and Parisian, I love Paris' cosmopolitan side and warmth. Exhibitions, walks, outings with the children...I'll take you on a discovery of the most welcoming places in Paris. My little extra: with my love of food as my compass, I always set course for the best lemon tarts in the city.
