Due to work on the high-speed line in The Netherlands, trains will not stop at the Schiphol station.

The Schiphol station can only be reached by local trains departing from Rotterdam. To reach Paris, Brussels or Antwerp, you must purchase a ticket from Rotterdam. Print then your travel confirmation to travel free between Rotterdam and Schiphol. This will be your ticket.

In Cologne in February, the word "party" also means "beer in abundance". Because it's Carnival time and it's inevitable. But you still have to eat a little something to make it through the evening! There's no point looking for a restaurant; the city is totally overbooked. Be practical and retrace your steps. Go back to the central train station and try the best pretzels in Cologne...yummy!

Father to son

It was in Mainz in 1919 that Wilhelm Ditsch decided to make the best pretzels in the city. His son perfected the recipe and the reputation of the Mainz pretzel quickly grew beyond the city. By the 1970s, there were so many "Brezelmänner" (Pretzel Men) dressed in white in the streets that Heinz decided to open up branches throughout Germany.

Freshness is all

Germans have been demanding the brand for generations. The Ditsch Pretzel is the best pretzel ever, whether in the car or for the kids’ snack! Consumption increases considerably during carnival season. They're inexpensive, always fresh and easy to carry and eating a Ditsch pretzel is definitely a traditional obligation when in Cologne!
Laetitia, 43 LAID BACK

The Cologne area provides my daughters and I with real quality of life. I like conviviality, healthy things, crafts and every kind of creativity. Together, we'll explore the side of Cologne that promotes the art of living. My little extra: the art of living.
