Be sure to make time for the superb photos, sculptures and paintings at this gallery in the heart of Cologne. Whether the artists are renowned or new, one thing is certain: Ralph Schriever is an art-lover.

Pop and Street Art

In this austere gallery you are sure to receive a warm welcome from the owner, Ralph Schriever. This has to be my favourite gallery in Cologne. Located in the city centre, it consists in 3 levels linked by a grey concrete staircase. The spartan decor brings out the singular qualities of the works. Ralph Schriever has a penchant for the unusual. As an art merchant (sculpture and paintings) he is also present at art fairs in Cologne and Karlsruhe. His gallery is specialised in Pop and Street Art.

On the agenda this autumn

The Dutch artist John Breed is the guest of honour this autumn at the Ralph Schriever gallery. A photographer and painter, this surprising artist has recently been in the news. Some will find his impressive sculpture, entitled Goodbye Paradise, a bit disturbing. His figurative paintings or renowned 3D fluorescent Plexiglas dollars will fascinate you. So let yourself be captivated by this astonishing gallery. It certainly won't leave you indifferent!

Open Tuesday to Friday from 11am to 7pm and Saturday from 11am to 4pm.

Laetitia, 43 LAID BACK

The Cologne area provides my daughters and I with real quality of life. I like conviviality, healthy things, crafts and every kind of creativity. Together, we'll explore the side of Cologne that promotes the art of living. My little extra: the art of living.
