Climb the few steps up to the first floor of 48b, rue des Chartreux to reach the showroom of Aurore Brun, and immerse yourself in her personal world of femininity and charm.

New star

She left the south of France behind for Belgium, to train as a stylist at the Haute Ecole Francisco Ferrer. That’s where she learned to master the craft, and refined an original style that celebrates silk, lace, and sheer, floaty fabrics. Her latest collection became a symphony of softly elegant silhouettes, at once urban and ultra-feminine, evoking the screen divas of the 50s. I discovered her in 2011 at Mièle Catwalk, a key show on the Belgian fashion scene. And the event also sparked a mad love affair with the press: hard to find a fashion magazine that’s not buzzing about Aurore !

Aurore’s parlour

Aurore wanted to make her shop-studio in the image of the private parlours of the grand houses of the 50s. It’s an elegant space, where a customer can sit and talk with the stylist about what she’s looking for, who she is, discovering what makes her beautiful. And so fashion becomes a source of dialogue…

I work as a fashion consultant, tear through the papers every morning, race off to concerts whenever I can and claim ""belgitude"" as a guarantee of original quality! My little extra: new shops, trendy concept-stores, organic restaurants and artists' workshops.
