The restaurant is located on Chaussée d’Alsemberg in Saint-Gilles in a former horsemeat butcher shop with listed interior design. It invites diners to an explosion of tastes in a warm atmosphere. The ingredients of a unique evening are all there!
La Buvette has changed hands since it opened and is now led by Nicolas Scheidt. The new chef was formerly at the head of l’Office in Paris, and after rubbing shoulders with Jamie Oliver for two years, he had a great idea... Stop punishing proletarian vegetables and humble meats. It works!
Simple but effective cuisine
Senses come alive!La Buvette is intimate and meets the expectations of the most discriminating diners. The “beef bouillon, Morteau and pumpkin” or “fillets of red mullet fregola and galanga” are real treats. The dishes can be assorted with a selection of wines chosen by Nicolas Scheidt. The myriad flavours inflame my senses every time! Open evenings from Wednesday through Saturday from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am.
My fashion job takes me around the world throughout the year. I love flea markets and hunting for antiques year round, meeting up with friends at art show openings, going to fashion shows and being first to discover a new restaurant.
