Due to work on the high-speed line in The Netherlands, trains will not stop at the Schiphol station.

The Schiphol station can only be reached by local trains departing from Rotterdam. To reach Paris, Brussels or Antwerp, you must purchase a ticket from Rotterdam. Print then your travel confirmation to travel free between Rotterdam and Schiphol. This will be your ticket.

You are out shopping in the town and suddenly your small child announces an urgent call of nature. Panic, where can you find clean toilet facilities? Your worries are over with 2theloo, the first toilet facilities/shop with WCs that are always impeccably clean, and which can be found on the busiest streets of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp.

Don’t touch!

In order to ensure maximum hygiene in its toilets, 2theloo has implemented technologies everywhere so that there is no need to touch anything. Just holding your hand in front of the toilet flush, under the tap or under the soap dispenser will achieve the desired result. One might almost hope for an automatic opening mechanism on the door to avoid touching the handle… There is never a shortage of toilet paper and a spectacle is guaranteed: each corner (including the family room cubicle and the disabled toilet) has been given its own personalised décor. No floral print wallpaper here, but a polar bear playing the siren, a night view of Manhattan or giant, lipstick-covered lips.

An attractive boutique

A visit to 2theloo (pronounced “toodeloo”, as in “to the loo” in English) will cost you €0.50. But you can get half of this back if you make a purchase in the shop. Amongst the essential personal hygiene products on sale (including underwear, for the eventuality of a total disaster), you will find amusing articles that will make the place immediately welcoming. And for those who wait there is even the option of a coffee. That’s what you call service!

Laurence, 46 a cool mum

I’m the mother of two supercharged children. I’ve also been living a great love affair with Holland for the past 20 years! I’ll take you to places in Amsterdam that will make you feel good, where the products and the welcome are high quality and where, most importantly, you’ll never stress out. Ready to go?
