The Stadhuisplein area is one of the most famous places to go out in Rotterdam. The area contains lots of café’s with large terraces. In summertime or during Kings day it’s full of people that are enjoying the good atmosphere. At night you can dance the night away.

Let’s dance

During warm sunny days the terraces on the Stadhuisplein are very crowded. The square next to the Coolsingel is filled with cafes where you can enjoy a drink during your shopping day, because the shops are just around the corner. At night the tables will be pushed aside to make space for some dancing. There are several cafes with all a different style. Like for example the Coconuts café that, as the name suggests, brings you into the tropical atmosphere with a bamboo interior. Or go to ‘t Fust, an old pub where the beer is always cold.

Queensday

With Queensday (now King's day!) the square is full of people, whether or not dressed in orange, building a party with each other. Also during the European Championships or World Cup it’s party time. The crowd can watch the matches on large screens at the terrasses. It’s real fun!
