A chef with three stars opening a bistro: there’s something worth highlighting! Just the kind of place we like, which honours the best products from the Paris region. Discovery.

An address for demanding bistro fans

Reincarnating the modern bistro: this is the ambition of Yannick Alléno, chef at the restaurant of the mythical hotel Le Meurice. Mission accomplished with Terroir Parisien, an attractive new place, nestled right in the heart of the 5th arrondissement. In modern surroundings, diners enjoy superb bistro cuisine, which honours the best products and recipes from the Île de France. Simply perfect.

Terroir above all

What are his mythical dishes that make your mouth water? “Hot veal” with sauce gribiche, served like a hot-dog (his signature dish), eggs in aspic à la froufrou, snout à la vinaigrette with the mark of Gilles Vérot (charcuterie star), or even “brioche Nanterre perdue”. So authentic, so Parisian: I love it. The other good news? The chef offers a set brunch on Sundays. Go and see for yourself!

Expect to pay €15 for lunch and €30 – 40 for dinner.

I'm a journalist and always looking for the latest fashionable place. My leisure time is very Parisian: shopping, restaurants, trendy bars with my girlfriends… My little extra: I'm a trend spotter!
