Alain and Aline Moignot offer a warm welcome in their family townhouse. Their children have flown the nest, leaving behind them four rooms that have since been renovated. This guesthouse in the heart of Brussels, with generous space and a rich history, is sure to delight.

Coffee and a chat

Built in 1831, this townhouse was officially recognised as a bed-and-breakfast in 1999. As the couple are only too happy to explain, this is where they learnt all about the business. In the dining room, during a breakfast made up of various Belgian produce and home-made jam, the art of conversation is very much alive, something Alain and his wife are only too happy to be a part of.

Little touches

Each room has been named individually, usually by the first people to stay there! They are all spacious and include a TV and a large bathroom. Bathrobes and toiletries are provided and, like proud Belgians, Alain and Aline have given pride of place to Tintin in the "Safari" room. And for that extra little touch, maps of Brussels and souvenir fridge magnets are given to each guest.

Vanessa, 27 GOURMET

I'm mad about food. I'm a Brussels native by adoption and I started a fun and girly cooking blog. I decrypt all of the new trends that will eventually show up in your plate! My little extra: surprising culinary discoveries I share with you with great zest and appetite.
