Cook and Book is an unusual spot. This 1500 m² bookshop, open every day until midnight, offers fine food surrounded by books, an innovative concept that caters for both culinary and literary appetites!

A table in the comic book aisle

I'm a fan of comic books, so during my lunch break I never know whether to browse the comic book aisle or grab something to eat. With Cook and Book, no more dilemma: as soon as I arrive, I choose a table right next to my reading material! And if you prefer paperbacks or coffee table books, there are tables for you, too. Each section has its own atmosphere, but the menu is the same for everyone: good Belgian fare.

One thing leads to another...

With comic books, children's literature, travel guides, novels and books on music and art, you will struggle not to be tempted by a high-quality publication – or dessert. And just as one good thing often leads to another, Cook and Book also has a reputation for hosting conferences, debates and temporary art exhibitions. This place has breathed some life back into east Brussels.

Open every day from 8 am to midnight.

I'm mad about food. I'm a Brussels native by adoption and I started a fun and girly cooking blog. I decrypt all of the new trends that will eventually show up in your plate! My little extra: surprising culinary discoveries I share with you with great zest and appetite.
