You enter a luminous, pared down setting cleverly ornamented with a Japanese Zen garden. It's a peaceful universe in which surprises for the palate spring forth. At Oki, the kitchen delivers delights and delicious foods and exudes gentle poetry.

Between East and West

Chez Oki opened eight years ago in the trendy Place Flagey neighbourhood and it's never empty. After working in several well-known restaurants in Paris and Brussels, Chef Haruki Oki decided to open his own place based on an unusual concept. He weds French and Japanese gastronomy to great effect to better delight your taste buds. Daring, savoir-faire and refined products come together in a minimalist setting that encourages serene enjoyment.

"Eyes closed"

The menu is full of dishes with names that are each more astonishing and tempting than the next. You'll fall easily under the spell of the of the gilt-head sea bream Carpaccio with sweetbreads sautéed in wasabi butter with fragrant Chardonnay vinegar. Carnivores will love the 'Wagyu' minute rib steak with Acacia honey sauce and Asian flavours. And what more can you say about the warm sushi topped with a sliver of sautéed foie gras? A sublime flight. The menu even includes an "Eyes Closed" dish for the most adventurous diners. It’s a secret composition packed with delight and discovery.
Gabriel, 32 TENNIS PRO

I teach tennis in the city and also write about culture for a number of publications. I love to travel and meet people. My city? It's an improv concert in a down-to-earth bar, an exhibition built on a work site, a play performed in the heart of the old city... My little extra: combining sport and culture!
