The Toren isn't an ordinary hotel. Its opulent interior and the careful decoration of the rooms make it an exclusive and intimate hotel which stands apart with its plush furniture from another time. You feel secure within its walls, far from the bustle of the city centre. The 38 rooms are really worth the visit and the service is irreproachable whether you are in a large suite or a single room.

A quasi-Proustian feel

Theatrical and baroque, the Toren is a voluptuous hotel. It's especially dedicated to pleasure and relaxation. Thick carpets, antique chandeliers and wall paper with geometrical shapes give it a Belle Epoque feel, very different from the city today. The original building is from the 17th century, a particularly favourable time in the history of Amsterdam since it is known as its Golden Age.

Varied and demanding guests

The Toren's has a clientèle consisting of Dutch and foreign visitors who can count on personal attention and a welcome different from that of major hotel chains. I recommend this hotel to my friends for long weekends, and even for a night. The warm atmosphere makes you feel less alone right away.

I love Amsterdam's open spirit. It's easy to meet people and have rich, interesting conversations. The heart of the city is bubbling over with cultural initiatives, secret restaurants and nature routes that relax you in no time. I want to share it all with you!
