How to obtain a MobileTicket on your Smartphone

You can obtain the MobileTicket* free of charge when you make your booking or in your profile if you are a member of Thalys TheCard.
You can choose this option for any purchase you make of a Ticketless journey at Thalys.com and Thalysthecard.com (if you have a Smartphone and internet access).
When the booking has been confirmed, you will receive your Ticketless itinerary directly on your Smartphone, together with a confirmation email.

If you are a member of the Thalys TheCard programme, please change your profile

If you wish to obtain your MobiletTicket, you need to have modified your TheCard profile in order to activate this option for all your future bookings.

Receive your MobileTicket on your Smartphone

If you have chosen the MobileTicket option, you will receive a SMS with a clickable link. (You will receive the same number of MobileTickets as journeys ordered or exchanged.)
Click on the link to download your MobileTicket to your Smartphone via your internet connection (Wifi, WAP, 3G etc.).

Show your mobile phone for inspection on board the train

On the train, show your Smartphone which displays the 2D barcode of your MobileTicket to the Train Manager who will scan it to validate your journey.

If you are unable to show your MobileTicket for inspection

Show your printed confirmation email.
Show your loyalty card if you are a member of TheCard.
Show your SMS with a clickable link on your mobile phone.

For a Ticketless journey, select one of the 5 means of identification to show the ticket inspectors on board:

If you are a member of TheCard (or if you have a Ticketless card), make sure you have your Thalys customer number with you (which begins 30840601).
If you do not have a Ticketless card and you do not wish to join the ThalysTheCard loyalty programme, buy your Ticketless travel online directly and without joining.

From your travel agent (authorised to sell this product)

As a member of the Thalys TheCard programme or if you have a Ticketless card:

Tell the seller that you wish to travel Ticketless and tell them your Customer number, which begins 30840601 and which is shown on:
- Your Thalys TheCard or Ticketless card.
- Your service registration email.
- All your Ticketless booking confirmation emails.
When the seller has confirmed your order, you will immediately receive a Ticketless booking confirmation email.

If you have provided your telephone number and chosen one or more of these options, you can receive, free of charge by SMS:

A reminder about seating on the day of your journey (transaction no., train, carriage, seat, times etc.).
An alert in the event of traffic disruption which may affect your train.
A MobileTicket, with a link you can click on to get your on board identification barcodes (*).

(*) This option requires a Smartphone with an internet connection. Note: this service is not available for Ticketless cardholders.

Exchange or cancel your Ticketless travel

If your fare type allows it, you can exchange or cancel your ticket:
