Make your Thalys journey an unforgettable experience!
Thalys customers now have a continuous broadband Internet connection on all Thalys trains* travelling to all destinations, so you can surf the Internet, consult your emails or work during your journey.
*Service subject to availability, depending on technical conditions on the day.
How do I connect?
Can your computer access WiFi?
If so, select the “THALYSNET” network when you are on board the train. Using your browser, you arrive at the portal enabling you to access Internet and use, free of charge, the services available, such as finding out the position of your train in real time and accessing all Thalys sites.
Internet access in Comfort 1:
You can access the ThalysNet portal and Internet free of charge during the whole of your journey.
Internet access in Comfort 2:
In Comfort 2, you can access the ThalysNet portal free of charge, but there is a charge for Internet access.

Travelling just a short distance?
We recommend the "60min" option for 6.5 €
You can use your credit in several sessions on one journey. To end a session, click the “logoff” button on the welcome portal; to begin a new session, identify yourself again.
Important : if the service is temporarily interrupted, disconnection is not automatic. You must log off in order not to lose credit.
Means of payment:
Payment for use can be made in two ways:
- By credit card (Visa, American Express, MasterCard) directly on the ThalysNet website
- By purchasing a on sale only at the Thalys Bar.
WiFi in Thalys trains: how does it work?
- 1 A tracking antenna on the roof that ensures Internet connection by bi-directional satellite link.
- 2 A Network operation centre
- 3 Tunnels. In covered areas, the satellite link is cut off. The Internet connection is maintained by switching to land relays (networks such as GPRS, UMTS, GSM…).
