Among the diverse cultural attractions in Amsterdam, visits to Anne Frank's house and the Van Gogh museum give a glimpse of the historical and artistic riches of the city. On bike or by foot, a stop at one of the city's numerous squares is a great way to get a feeling for the vibrancy of daily life in Amsterdam: in Rembrandtplein or Leidseplein, the most famous squares, you will find the well-known "brown café's".
To end the visit with a panoramic view of the city, make your way the Westerkerk and its bell tower, the tallest in Amsterdam, located in the heart of Jordaan, one of the fashionable quarters.

This café was run by the Koevoet family from 1889 to 1967, before becoming this restaurant well-known to the people of Amsterdam and run by Mario and Ciccio. The interior design has not changed since more than a century (the parquet dates from the 18th century), testifying to the authenticity of the place. The cuisine, inspired by Naples, is made exclusively using fresh products and offers on the menu: Penne alla norma (tomatoes, aubergines, melted ricotta), Spaghetti al arrabiata (tomato, black olives, pepper), Aubergines alla Parmiggiana, or even Grilled swordfish, lemon sauce sprinkled with chopped parsley.
