Comics and the city.
Within the world of comic books, the city often plays a major role, whether just as a decorative backdrop or almost as a character in itself. Paris, Tokyo and New York are all iconic cities within the genre.
The exhibition, entitled City drawings: Architecture and Comic Books highlights the many aspects of the depiction of the city within comic books, following a chronological route from the late 19th century to the present day.
A total of 150 author/illustrators and around 350 works will be on display, in the form of storyboards, original illustrations, photographs and films.
From Wednesday 2 June to Sunday 28 November 2010 :
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 to 19:00
- Thursday from 11:00 to 21:00
Admission prices :
- Full price : 8 €
- Reduced price : 5 €
- Children until 11 years : Free
