Obtaining tickets

Ticketless - You have the freedom to travel without a ticket!

With Thalys Ticketless you can travel without a paper ticket to all Thalys destinations.

  • You no longer need to collect your ticket at the station, receive it by post or print it out;
  • purchase it on Thalys.com, through a travel agency or the call centre;
  • confirmation of reservation, exchange or cancellation by email;
  • reminder of seat number by SMS 1 hour prior to the train’s departure;
  • email and SMS message in the event of traffic disturbance affecting your train;
  • personal “My Ticketless” space on Thalys.com to consult your Ticketless journeys and print out a receipt.

Home delivery

You can receive tickets purchased on this site by post free of charge. There is no need to go out and collect your ticket. You will receive it directly at home in your letter box.

To make sure you receive your ticket in time, our reservation system requires a minimum number of days prior to your travel dates.

Depending on the country the minimum number of days is:

  • Belgium: 7 days before departure;
  • France: 4 days before departure;
  • Germany: 7 days before departure;
  • Netherlands: 5 days before departure.

You have not received your train tickets within the required time.

Print-Out Tickets

Say goodbye to long queues!

Thanks to the Print-Out Ticket you can print your own ticket, either immediately after placing your order or later on.

As soon as you reserve, a code with the reference and name associated with your ticket will be sent to you by email. This code enables you to display the details of your trip and print your ticket. This information remains available until the departure of your Thalys train.

If you lose your ticket, you can simply print it again.

Print-Out tickets are nominative and personal.
