Lys special offer- frequent travellers

  • A personal card that entitles you to purchase an unlimited number of tickets at the special Lys fare for journeys between Belgium and Paris-Nord station. With the Lys card, prices are 50% less than Hi-life fares (full fare) in Comfort 1 and Comfort 2.
  • The "Any Belgian Station" Lys fares are also available between Brussels, Liege, Anvers and all stations on the Belgian rail network.
  • You can buy tickets right up to the very last minute. And to fully satisfy your needs and help you adapt to unexpected changes in your schedule, with the special Lys rate, you can take the train leaving just before or just after the one you have reserved. You will pay only the transfer of reservation fee, which is 10€, (but with no guarantee of a seat, or meal service in Comfort 1).

The Lys card is available with a choice of 3 options:

  • Your Lys card for 3 months for 575,00 € (including VAT)
  • Your Lys card for 6 months for 825,00 € (including VAT)
  • Your Lys card for 12 months for 1235,00 € (including VAT)

Terms of use

Using the card

During each trip you must be in possession of your valid card and you must present it for inspection, with a ticket at the Lys rate valid for the train that you have boarded.

Incorrect use

In the event of non-compliance with the conditions of use of the card, the following penalties will be applied:

  • If you are unable to present your card, or if your card is damaged, you will have to pay the difference between a ticket at the Hi-life rate (full fare) and the ticket in your possession, plus a flat-rate fee of 10 €.
  • If the card presented does not belong to you, you will be deemed as not being in possession of a ticket and you will have to pay for a ticket at the Hi-life rate (full fare), plus a flat-rate fee of 10 €.
  • Any card used improperly will be confiscated by the Train Manager, and legal action could be taken.
  • During each trip you must be in possession of your valid card and you must present it for inspection, with a ticket at the Lys rate valid for the train that you boarded.
  • Tickets purchased at the Lys fare may be exchanged once before the train’s departure and are not refundable.
  • Your Lys card cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Privacy policy

In accordance with the provisions of the Law of 8th December 1992 regarding the protection of personal data you are informed and agree that all information given and photographs sent by electronic means in your application form will be processed by automated means by Thalys International for the purposes of issuing your Lys card.

Information concerning you may also be given to partners and service providers contractually bound to Thalys International.

You have a right to access, rectify and delete your personal data. This right of direct access, rectification and deletion may be exercised upon written request to Thalys International Place Stéphanie, 20, B-1050 Brussels.
