Dog fare

Small dogs and pets can travel free of charge in a suitable 55 x 30 x 30cm or smaller carrier. These containers must be designed so that the animal cannot disturb other passengers.

Other dogs are admitted into carriages provided they are carried on the owner’s lap or are held closely on a lead on the carriage floor and muzzled so that they do not disturb passengers near them.

If you travel:

• either with a small dog that is not in a carrier during the journey,
• or with a dog weighing more than 5 kilos,
  you must be in possession of a ticket for the dog, which is 35% of the Librys fare in Comfort 2.

If a passenger objects to the presence of a dog or another pet, the Train Manager can ask the owner to move with the animal to another part of the train. Ultimately, the Train Manager may decide to put the animal, if it is muzzled and on a lead, in the goods wagon.

For everyone’s comfort, please make sure that other passengers accept the presence of your pet.

Tickets for dogs are not sold on line and are not available on the Thalys Sun and Snow seasonal trains.

Guide dogs travel free of charge.
