In a nutshell...
Known as the capital of comic strips, Brussels is also unique for its mix of modern buildings and Art Nouveau style homes.
An animated and festive city, it is not rare to witness a fanfare or a parade in the Grand Place nor is it uncommon to see the Mannekenpis being adomed in a new costume; Brussels is a city for walking.
The city is spread out, with 19 districts depicting many different faces of the capital. Ixelles is famous for its nightlife, where Saint-Gilles, particularly the Maison Horta, is popular with those who are interested in Art Nouveau.
Truly European in character, Brussels offers all the Belgian specialities, from beer to waffles, but Italian and French dishes are also popular. This is a city where everyone can find something of interest.

SENSES - ART NOUVEAU

In the heart of the Sablon district, Senses Art Nouveau boutique was created in 1998 in order to offer enthousiasts of this movement, the capital of which is Brussels, a choice of affordable reproductions of Art Nouveau objects and fashion accessories. The shop resembles a boudoir of the 19th century with its orange walls decorated in forged iron and small lights detailed with flowers and foilage. Here you can find exclusive collections of glasses, silver objects, and candlesticks on greatly illuminated shelves.
At the back, a space is dedicated to silk wraps and jewelry designed by Isabelle Leloup, founder of the boutique. To preserve the detail of the folds, each wrap is embroidered and dyed by hand. More than 24 different colors are available each more beautiful than the last.
