In a nutshell...
Known as the capital of comic strips, Brussels is also unique for its mix of modern buildings and Art Nouveau style homes.
An animated and festive city, it is not rare to witness a fanfare or a parade in the Grand Place nor is it uncommon to see the Mannekenpis being adomed in a new costume; Brussels is a city for walking.
The city is spread out, with 19 districts depicting many different faces of the capital. Ixelles is famous for its nightlife, where Saint-Gilles, particularly the Maison Horta, is popular with those who are interested in Art Nouveau.
Truly European in character, Brussels offers all the Belgian specialities, from beer to waffles, but Italian and French dishes are also popular. This is a city where everyone can find something of interest.

COSPAIA

In the heart of Brussels, near to Louise avenue, Cospaia is making waves. It should be said that the owner, Belgian businessman Jan Tindemans wanted to offer Brussels a high-class restaurant on the same scale as those of New York, Barcelona or London. To do that, he called upon the label of Dutch designer Marcel Wolternick. The decor is spread out over three seperate dining rooms. One is completely black, the next white and decorated with Berber photos.
On the menu, veal croquettes and tiny cakes with seafood sauce (19.50€), cream of leek with a hint of mint (8.50€), filet of royal Dorade over a mousse of little peas and baked creme of fleurette (25€), or sauteed tuna steak(24€). On the wine list, many good bottles from Bordeaux, Italy, Chili and the United States. In nice weather, a 140m² patio is opened.
