A meal at our seat
In Comfort 1, a meal served at your seat is included in the price of your ticket (drinks included).
Meals are varied and accompanied by a choice of hot or cold drinks.
Some vegetarian meals are also available.
Depending on the time of day, our staff will serve:
- Between Paris and Brussels:
- Breakfast
: choice of hot or cold beverages, croissants, cheese or cold meats, fruit salad or yoghurt - A snack
: choice of beverages, sandwiches and cakes - A light meal
: choice of beverages, cold starter and main dish, bread and dessert.
- Breakfast
- Departures from Amsterdam and Cologne:
- Breakfast : choice of hot beverages, croissants and yoghurt
- A light meal : choice of beverages, cold meal and bread.
- Collation
: choice of beverages, sandwiches or sweet and savoury treats.
- Breakfast
- Between Paris and Ostend and Paris and Liege via Mons:
- Breakfast : choice of hot or cold beverages, croissants, cheese or cold meats, fruit salad or yogurt
- A light meal : choice of beverages, cold starter and main dish, bread and dessert.

Complementary services
- A variety of newspapers and magazines in various languages is available free of charge on all trains. Papers are available in the languages of the departure and arrival stations.
At Sunday, passengers can relax with our selection of magazines. - Taxi reservation service
Don’t waste a minute! Our onboard staff will be happy to book a taxi that will be waiting for you when you alight from the train.
One of our staff members will be waiting for you, holding a sign Thalys.
This service is available for arrivals at:
- Paris: Our staff member will be waiting opposite platforms 8 and 9. Drivers charge a fee for serving the station of around 12€ in addition to the cost of your journey.
You pay the driver directly for the cost of serving the station and your journey. - Brussels: Situated on level 0, between platforms 3/4 and 5/6. A flat fee of 21€ is charged for transport to any one of the 19 communities that make up the Brussels-Capital region, as well as Zellik and Diegem. You pay the driver directly.
For any other destinations, the taxi fare corresponds to the price displayed on the meter (service fee + cost of journey).
- Paris: Our staff member will be waiting opposite platforms 8 and 9. Drivers charge a fee for serving the station of around 12€ in addition to the cost of your journey.
- Thalys is your office on the road thanks to electric sockets that you can use to recharge your electronic equipment while you travel (carriages 2/12/22 and 3/13/23).
For passengers who want to relax, carriages 1/11/21 are not equipped with sockets. - Your Comfort 1 ticket is also your access pass for the VIP Lounge in Cologne. It is reserved free of charge for passengers with Thalys Comfort 1 tickets. This elegant lounge enables you to wait comfortably for your train at the station.
