Breakfast, lunch or dinner train?
Enjoy a good meal during your journey! A meal served at your seat in the train is included in the price of your ticket in Comfort 1*.

The new Thalys approach, straight into your plate, offering you meals that are healthier, tastier and suited to each time of the day and your journey.*
Meals are designed according to the culinary customs of the departure station. Several vegetarian selections are available on each line.
For your dining pleasure, more than 216 different menus are served each year aboard Thalys trains:
- A breakfast consisting in:
- hot and cold drinks,
- croissants and hot breads,
- fruit salad or an organic yoghourt,
- a savoury selection (cheese and cold meat) or a sweet selection.
- A lunch or dinner consisting in :
- hot and cold drinks,
- a starter,
- a mixed salad platter,
- a dessert,
- hot breads.
- A gourmet offer :
- Gourmet Tonus = in the morning after breakfast.
- Choice of: hot Danish pastries, sandwiches, organic yoghourts, fruit salads.
- Gourmet Apéritif = before lunch or dinner.
- Choice of: savoury cakes, vegetable sticks, sandwiches.
- Gourmet Gourmand = In the afternoon and evening.
- Choice of: sandwiches, cakes, fruit salads, organic yoghourts.
Momentum
Three times a year, Thalys completely renews the theme of its onboard catering in Comfort 1 and the Thalys Bar, offering healthy and tasty meals suitable for the time of day and in keeping with the seasons.
Zesty Tasty
From 15th April to 15th September 2010
Zesty Tasty, the summer theme for 2010, is inspired by a genuine culinary philosophy that combines local gastronomy and creativity, flavours of childhood and good nutrition, with a hint of the exotic that will brighten up your journey. Some samples taken from menus stored on board by Thalys at Cologne include: an imaginative terrine of guinea fowl with oranges and port, a “Kartoffelrösti” and salmon tartare steeped in nostalgia: seasonal asparagus in and cucumber salad for health and well being. This summer on Thalys, local recipes and produce with added cultural value are part of our programme.

On our menus you’ll find a selection of hot dishes, sandwiches, sweet and savoury snacks, salads, hot and cold drinks, as well as organic and fair trade products.
Available at the bar or to go.
From now on, our disposable tableware is 100% recyclable!
