Thalys train reservations can be made as early as three months in advance and up to several minutes before departure. You can choose to buy either a single or a return trip ticket. Depending of your location, you have several options:

Ticket distribution in Belgium:
- online on this website: payment is made online when ordering;
- at SNCB stations (view list);
- by telephone: call 070 79 79 79 (0.30 €/min) (outside Belgium: +32 70 79 79 79);
- at authorised travel agencies;
- at the SNCF ticket office located in the Galerie Louise in Brussels.

- online on this website: payment can be made either online when ordering your ticket or when you collect your tickets at a train station or an SNCF agency;
- at SNCF train stations and ticket offices;
- by telephone: dial 3635 and say "Thalys" (0.34 €/min) from a landline in France, outside France: + 33 8 92 35 35 36;
- at ticket distributors;
- at authorised travel agencies.

- at NS train stations (a 10€ fee is charged per transaction);

- online on this website: payment can be made either online when ordering your ticket or when you collect your tickets at a train station;
- at DB train stations;
- by telephone: 11861 (0.03€/sec, then 0.39€/min after transfer to the ReiseService);
- at authorised travel agencies;
- At the SNCF agency situated opposite the main station in Cologne, exit Domseite
