RESTAURANT D VIJFF VLIEGHEN

The nine seperate rooms that make up this maze of a restaurant are all connected by five contiguous houses. Originally, this location was owned by an antiques dealer who opened up a small bar; don't be shocked if this place looks more like a museum than a restaurant. In fact, the "Rembrant Room" displays four original engravings by the artist. The menu proposes a new cuisine elaborated from traditional Dutch recipes. The restaurant is particularly well frequented by celebrities, whose names have been inscribed on a copper plaque on the back of the chair they sat in. Additionally: more than 150 liquors are available including juniper distillations.
