HET PROEFLOKAAL WYNAND FOCKINK

On the edge of the Red Light District in a little alley called Pijlsteeg, well-known by locals, but very easy for tourists to miss is a small bar that has been open since 1679 called Wynand Fockink. Specialized in juniper liquors, this place offers more than 60 house products as well as those of a larger reputation. Certain suggestive names such as "consolation for bitter disappointments," "my aunt's water," "take off your shirt," or "the longest will be the best" showcase the creativity of the distiller.
