To end the visit with a panoramic view of the city, make your way the Westerkerk and its bell tower, the tallest in Amsterdam, located in the heart of Jordaan, one of the fashionable quarters.

BIERPROEFLOKAAL IN DE WILDEMAN

This brewery of ale prepares 17 draughts and 200 varieties of bottled beer and it is the only establishment in Amsterdam to offer a non-smoking section. The principle of a "proeflokaal" is to ask for a sample taste before ordering to insure complete satisfaction with one's choice. The decor is rather eclectic including various object such as poster, plaques, engravings on the subject of beer, and plenty of bottles...
