Known as the capital of comic strips, Brussels is also unique for its mix of modern buildings and Art Nouveau style homes.

The city is spread out, with 19 districts depicting many different faces of the capital. Ixelles is famous for its nightlife, where Saint-Gilles, particularly the Maison Horta, is popular with those who are interested in Art Nouveau.
Truly European in character, Brussels offers all the Belgian specialities, from beer to waffles, but Italian and French dishes are also popular. This is a city where everyone can find something of interest.

ATMOSPHERES
In the most popular pedestrian street in Sablon, the two-story "Atmosphere" boutique offers antiques originating from trade fairs, flea markets and voyages. One will find it difficult to focus on any one particular object as from floor to ceiling the store is filled with interesting articles. Lamps, old containers, toys, chandeliers, mirrors. And everything fits together beautifully. The staircase showcases old photos taken on cinematic sets and framed in black wood. On the second floor, a poster bed covered in an antique quilt is situated in a warm and intimate setting. Old maps, family photos and lamps accompany the room. The owner loves to mix styles in order to inspire her customers' own creativity and imagination.
